Plan your 2026 holiday quarter, channel by channel

Type last year's October, November and December sales for each channel and a growth target. You get what each channel has to sell each month and week to hit it, around Amazon's inbound deadlines, Black Friday and the USPS cutoffs. Nothing is sent anywhere.

Example numbers for a brand on 3 channels. Replace them with yours from last year's reports, or .

Part 1

The 2026 dates the plan hangs on

Do this first

  1. Book FBA inbound shipments to arrive by October 21, or October 28 with Amazon-optimized splits.
  2. Submit Black Friday Week and Cyber Monday deals by October 20.
  3. Mark December 17 as the last Ground Advantage send-by date, and December 19 for Priority Mail Express.

  • USPS dates are recommended send-by dates for the contiguous U.S., with no guarantee, and Ground Advantage to Alaska, Hawaii and the territories is December 16.3
  • Black Friday and Cyber Monday follow from Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 26.2
  • Just ran a Prime Big Deal Days deal? What to do in the 30 days after covers the stock check and the price lookback that decide whether your Black Friday deal is still safe.

Part 2

How the plan is built

StepHow
MonthsLast year's same month times your growth target, the same for every channel
WeeksEach month spread evenly over its days, then added up by week, Monday to Sunday
PeakWith last year's Thanksgiving to Cyber Monday figure, November 26 to 30 carry the share of November that figure was of last November, and the rest of November shares what's left
OrdersEach week's target divided by the channel's order value. A blank order value leaves that channel out of orders
  • The example plans $294,250 for the quarter, $26,750 more than last year's $267,500 at a 10% target.
  • Every channel gets the same target, 10% in the example, since the planner can't know which channel will grow. Edit a channel's last-year numbers to plan it harder.
  • It can't say whether 10% is realistic. That depends on traffic, conversion and stock per channel, which the sales drop check splits out and the monthly review reads every month.

In January, find out which channel hit plan, and why

A plan says what each channel should sell. Sentopi's monthly review says what it did: every channel against plan, each miss split into traffic, conversion and order value, and the first 3 actions ranked. Send us December's exports and we'll build your first month free.
