What will Amazon's FBA fee be on your product this peak?
Amazon's holiday peak fulfillment fees run October 15, 2026 to January 14, 2027. Type your price, box and weight to get the size tier, the fee before and during peak with the 3.5% surcharge, and what peak adds over the units you expect to ship. Nothing you type is sent anywhere.
Example: a $24.99 kitchen gadget in a 10 x 6 x 3 inch box weighing 14 oz. Replace it with your product.
Measure the packaged unit as it reaches Amazon. Standard items, excluding apparel and dangerous goods, which have their own rate cards.

Over Large bulky's limits, so this is Extra-large, priced by weight band on Amazon's rate card, plus an Overmax fee past 96 inches on the longest side or 130 inches length plus girth. This calculator stops at Large bulky.
Your whole catalog: paste Amazon's Fee Preview report
In Seller Central, select Reports, then Fulfillment, then Fee Preview under Payments, and download it.4
Open the file, copy every row with the header, and paste it below, or drop the file on the box. Each SKU gets its size tier, billed weight and both fees from its sides, weight and price.5
Add a column named units with what you'll ship October 15 to January 14 to get the quarter's total. Nothing you paste leaves your browser.

Part 1
Peak adds $0.19 to $0.54 a unit on standard items priced $10 to $50, before the surcharge
Do this first
- Paste your Fee Preview report into the catalog check, or run your top 5 products one at a time.
- Multiply what peak adds by the units you plan to ship by January 14.
- Re-check the margin on any product priced near $10 or $50, since the fee changes band there.
- Compare the tier and fee with your Fee Preview report in Seller Central.
- Small standard items pay $0.19 to $0.22 more in peak, and Large standard items $0.24 to $0.54.1
- The 3.5% surcharge applies to peak fees too, so a $5.73 peak fee is $5.93 a unit.1
- Amazon prices the 3 bands differently since January 15, 2026: under $10 averages $0.86 less than $10 and up, and over $50 rose $0.31 on average.1

Part 2
Your box, not your product, often sets the fee
Do this first
- Measure the packaged unit's 3 sides and weigh it.
- Divide length x width x height by 139 for its dimensional weight in pounds.
- If that beats the unit weight, price a smaller box against the fee it saves.
- Small standard is up to 16 oz and 15 x 12 x 0.75 inches, and it bills on unit weight only. Large standard is up to 20 lb and 18 x 14 x 8 inches.2
- Large standard, Small bulky and Large bulky bill on the greater of unit and dimensional weight, which is length x width x height / 139.3
- In the example, a 14 oz gadget in a 10 x 6 x 3 inch box bills at 1.29 lb, so it pays $5.61 a unit instead of $4.76, $0.85 for air.
- Small bulky replaced part of the old Large bulky tier on January 15, 2026, for items up to 37 x 28 x 20 inches and 50 lb.2
Part 3
What the calculator leaves out
| Left out | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| Referral fee, 15% in most categories | Marketplace fees 2026, and per channel in the channel margin calculator |
| Apparel, dangerous goods, Extra-large | Their own tables on Amazon's rate card1 |
| Storage, inbound placement, low-inventory-level fees | Charged per cubic foot, per shipment or by days of supply, not per order1 |
| Amazon's rounding | We round the surcharge to the cent per unit, so a cent's difference is possible |
